According to arrest records, a third Cabana brother called authorities when Robert Cabana grabbed a knife from their residence in unincorporated West Palm Beach and threatened his brother for calling him fat.

When a deputy arrived at the scene, Cabana exited the home and said, "I got angry and pulled a knife on my brother."

The brother said that when he called Cabana fat, he began throwing food and other items around and the brothers grabbed each other's shirts. The officer noted in his arrest report that neither brother looked to have any injuries, but did note small holes in the older brother's shirt.

Initially, the older brother stated that Cabana had held the knife to his throat, but would not include it in his taped statement. After reviewing his statement and the third brother's 9-1-1 call, the officer arrested Cabana.
