A Conyers teenager celebrated his 17th birthday behind bars after being arrested last week in connection with an armed robbery at a Taco Bell, authorities said.

Maximus Buckley turned 17 on Jan. 2, which was the same day he was arrested on felony charges of armed robbery and kidnapping, according to Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office arrest warrants.

He’s accused of pointing a weapon at employees of the Taco Bell at 2415 Salem Road on May 8, 2018, while taking an undetermined amount of money from the safe and cash register, the warrants said.

Buckley remains in the Rockdale County Jail without bond, jail records show.
