Conyers police said they have rescued a 20-year-old sex trafficking victim and arrested her alleged captor.
A social worker from Seattle, Wash. contacted the police department on April 13 to request a welfare check for the 20-year-old woman, since she wasn’t able to contact the victim for a few days, according to the incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
