Cobb police identify pedestrian killed in alleged DUI incident
Cobb County police released the name Wednesday of a woman killed by an alleged drunk driver last week.
Patricia Ann Foster, 42, of Powder Springs was walking on Powder Springs Road near Pine Grove road when she was hit from behind by a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee late Thursday, police said. She died at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep was identified as Joshua Lee Shank, according to authorities.
Shank, 31, of Powder Springs, was charged with driving under the influence and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, police previously said.
