A Cobb County police officer and three others were injured in an accident Saturday night.
Cobb County police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said three police vehicles were heading south on Austell Road en route to a robbery call when someone turned in front of them.
A passenger vehicle turned left from the northbound side of Austell Road and struck a responding officer’s car in the side.
The officer in the t-boned car hurt his knee and two of three people in the passenger vehicle had facial injuries, Pierce said. All four were taken to a local hospital.
An accident report was not available Sunday.
