Chase leads to crash, traffic delays near Douglas-Cobb line

Feb 11, 2016A chase resulted in a crash and major traffic backups Thursday morning in Douglas County, near the Cobb County line, a Douglas sheriff’s spokesman said.
A sheriff’s car chased two suspects believed to be involved in a robbery at Circle K convenience store on West Stewart Mill Road, Douglas County Sheriff’s Lt. Glenn Daniel said.
The chase ended on Riverside Parkway at Six Flags Road when the suspects hit a utility trailer.
The driver pulling the trailer left the scene, and one of the two suspects was arrested, Daniel said.
There were no injuries reported as of 9 a.m.
