Officials in Forsyth County said they intercepted the storage unit, AJC.com previously reported.

Marrero allegedly signed for the delivery. The unit contained 170 pounds of high-quality marijuana and more than 1,200 THC oil vaporizer cartridges, police said.

Investigators believe Marrero chose the warehouse and office park off McFarland Road in south Forsyth County because it wouldn’t draw attention to him.

State laws already let patients with specific medical conditions to possess and use the oil to treat symptoms, but they had no legal way to get it in Georgia.
