Police are searching for five men accused of carjacking a woman at gunpoint while she was visiting a friend at the Mezzo apartment complex in Buckhead.

The men, in a black sedan, pulled up beside the woman’s BMW with guns drawn Oct. 20 in a parking deck on Peachtree Road, Atlanta police Sgt. Warren Pickard confirmed Friday.

Video shows the 26-year-old woman standing as two of the men pointed their guns at her while another man from the group searched her car.

Police said the men also committed another crime that night.

Officers are trying to pull fingerprints from the BMW, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The Mezzo building owner sent the television station the following statement:

“The safety and security of our residents is our top priority. After receiving information from the authorities, we informed our residents that an incident had occurred on level P3, a commercial parking area, and asked them to be on alert for suspicious activity.”
