Two men have been charged with evidence tampering in connection with the hit-and-run death of a Douglas County man in September, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Tabitha Paige, 18, was arrested on charges that she hit Gary Latimer as he stepped into the roadway on Sept. 14. Latimer died later from his injuries, authorities said.
Her brothers Brian Ross Paige and Travis Wayne Paige are accused of hiding the car she allegedly was driving at a home in Alabama, Channel 2 said.
The Paige brothers were in Douglas County Magistrate Court on Monday, where they both were charged with tampering with evidence and released on $10,000 bond, according to reports.
Tabitha Paige also has been released from jail, but it is unclear what bond amount was required for her release.
