Authorities are investigating after a wrecked vehicle with a body inside was found in Paulding County on Monday afternoon.
A driver discovered the damaged vehicle in a ditch near Buchanan Highway and Manors Mill Road and called 911 after spotting the body, Paulding County sheriff’s Sgt. Ashley Henson told AJC.com.
The Georgia State Patrol identified the driver as Stephen T. Perry, 25, of Dallas, who was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in his vehicle.
Troopers said he lost control while traveling north on Buchanan Highway and his vehicle ended up overturned in the ditch.
No other information was released.
