A man who allegedly groped a teenage girl steps away from her mother is in custody, Dunwoody police said.
Alex Taylor Basinger, 25, of Dunwoody, is in the DeKalb County Jail on a charge of child molestation in connection with the Oct. 5 incident, records show. He was booked just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The arrest comes more than two weeks after police issued a lookout for the man, who was captured on security cameras inside a Hobby Lobby store on Ashford Dunwoody Road.

The girl was looking at an item inches away from her mother when she said a man came up behind her and grabbed her, Channel 2 Action News reported. He ran away after the girl called out, police spokesman Sgt. Robert Parsons said.
“She did the right thing, called out to her mom, asked for help,” he said.
