A Henry County high school student was shot in the leg with a BB gun Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The incident happened at Woodland High School in Stockbridge, Henry County Schools spokesman John Hardin said.

One student pulled out a BB gun and shot another student before leaving the area, Hardin said.
