Atlanta police are again asking for the public’s help to solve an armed robbery in a school parking lot that ended with a woman hanging from the driver-side window of the suspects’ vehicle.

Authorities have released a video of the incident. Sketches of the suspects in the Sept. 11 robbery were released last week. Investigators believe the public may be able to make a connection between the sketches and the vehicle in the video.

A Boyd Elementary School cafeteria worker told police she saw men trying to steal the purse from her parked car Sept. 11 and she tried to stop them. She held on to the window of their vehicle as it sped away. She said she let go of the Honda Accord after the driver pulled out a handgun and fired at her. She was found crying on the pavement.

Anyone with information can submit it anonymously to Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting the tip to CRIMES (274637).
