A federal judge sentenced an Atlanta man to 18 years in prison on methamphetamine charges Friday, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.

Eric Pedro Valdez, 39, was found guilty of conspiring to distribute more than 70 kilograms of meth from November 2015 to May 2016, the news release said.

Authorities said Valdez hand-delivered four kilograms of meth to two co-conspirators at a business in the Atlanta area.

No other details were released.
