Two men have been arrested in connection with a Union City deadly drive-by shooting last week.

Kenneth Ricks and Alan Dennis II have both been charged with felony murder and gun possession during the commission of a felony in the shooting death of 22-year-old Michael Henderson.

Witnesses said the two men approached Henderson on Wednesday at the Shell Convenience Market in the 5000 block of Roosevelt Highway, and opened fire, killing him.

Both Dennis and Ricks were arrested shortly after the shooting, police said.

“With the assistance of a vigilant public, officers were able to apprehend both suspects within minutes,” Union City Police Detective Gloria Hodgson said.

Police have not identified a motive, but Hodgson said more charges are pending.

Both Ricks and Dennis are being held without bond in the Fulton County Jail.
