Hall County sheriff’s deputies arrested two men on charges of aggravated battery after an incident that left the victim disfigured.

Jacob Tyler Delong, 20, and Chase Lane Jarrard, 22, both of Hall County, are accused of striking the victim repeatedly in the face and head during an incident Friday, said Lt. Scott Ware, spokesman for the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was left with a fractured skull, a fractured orbital socket and a fractured sinus cavity leading to a serious disfigurement.

It is not known what relationship existed between the victim and the alleged assailants or what prompted the assault, Ware said.

Deputies arrested both suspects without incident, and they were booked into the Hall County jail.

The case is under investigation.
