A South Fulton woman said she often feels like someone is following her, which she usually dismisses as an irrational fear.

However, that feeling was correct Tuesday night when she was followed home by two men and carjacked at gunpoint, Channel 2 Action News reported.

“Any other time, I’ll make a U-turn. I’ll drive all the way to the gas station and back,” the woman, who asked to remain anonymous, told the news station. “I had every instinct — every single one. I just thought I was being paranoid.”

She was driving home from work about 11 p.m. and had just pulled into her driveway when she said two young men approached her with sawed-off shotguns.

South Fulton police have opened an investigation into the carjacking, which took place in a subdivision off Enon Road.

A neighbor’s Ring doorbell camera captured the moments before the woman was forced from her car, Channel 2 reported. In the video, the two suspects, whom the victim described as teenagers, are seen getting out of a vehicle to approach the woman.

“They snatched me out of the car,” the woman told the news station. “The driver, assailant, puts the gun to my chest ... and they tell me to lay down on the ground.”

Officers found the woman’s vehicle Wednesday, but the suspects ran off after a chase, Channel 2 reported. Police have not made an arrest and did not release any other description of the suspects.
