A man was found dead in a house fire early Saturday in Alpharetta, and police say he was killed before the fire started, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Police think the man, who has not been identified, lived in the house alone, the news station reported. The house is in the Birkshire Manor neighborhood.

The fire started about 1 a.m., police said. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames after they arrived. They discovered the body at that point.

There are no suspects. No other information was released.
