A Cobb County Grand Jury has indicted the teenager accused of killing two men during a drug sale at a park.

Jaydon Lee Reid, of Marietta, was 14 at the time of the March 16 shootings at Wild Horse Creek Park, near Powder Springs, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. Officers responding to reports of shots fired arrived at the park to find two men dead.

Reid ran from officers, but was quickly taken into custody, according to police. At the time of his arrest, Reid was found with a 9 mm pistol, believed to be the weapon used to shoot and kill 23-year-old Terrance Banks and 21-year-old Sterling Hargrave, both of Powder Springs.

Investigators believe the shootings followed a drug transaction, and that Reid took both money and drugs from the men he allegedly shot.

Reid was indicted earlier this month on two counts each of malice murder, felony murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, drug possession and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and one count of obstruction of an officer, according to the Cobb District Attorney’s Office. He is being held without bond at the Marietta Regional Youth Detention Center.
