Chick-fil-A offers free meals to local veterans and their families today

Georgia locations are offering free sandwiches, meals

Chick-fil-A is offering free meals and sandwiches to veterans today.

There are a number of ways national food chains are honoring veterans on Veterans Day, and Atlanta's hometown fast-food restaurant is joining that list.

Various Georgia locations of Chick-fil-A will offer free chicken sandwiches and/or free meals, including Grilled Chicken Sandwich Meal, nuggets meal (8-count) or Chick-fil-A Nuggets Kid's Meal (4-count), according to a listing on militarybenefits.info.

“We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to those who have honorably served our nation,” said Arthur Porter, franchise operator of Chick-fil-A Indian Land, in a statement in 2018. “Providing food to the men and women who have served our country is just a small token of our gratitude for all they’ve done to protect our freedom.”

The free offerings vary depending on location, so check with your local Chick-fil-A location to determine the hours and food items that are free today. The deals are available without purchase, but a valid veterans ID is required.
