Veterans Day 2019: Metro Atlanta restaurants offering freebies and deals

As a ‘’thank you’ to U.S. troops, several metro Atlanta restaurants are offering deals, specials and freebies for active and retired military on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Customers are advised to check with specific locations ahead of time to ensure they’re participating in Veterans Day promotions. 

Another Broken Egg Cafe. All active and retired military service members can get a free Patriot French Toast combo and coffee while supplies last.

Applebee’s. Veterans and active-duty military will be able to choose a free meal from a special menu of eight entrees including the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter and Double Crunch Shrimp.

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. U.S. military gets a free Bad Daddy’s All American Burger and side. This offer is valid for all active and former military members. Guests must present military ID card, Veterans Affairs or Discharge papers.

Participating guests will also receive a card to redeem for a buy one, get one free pizza, pasta, or salad during a return visit November 12-20.
