A 13-year-old boy was hit by two cars Friday when crossing Ga. 54 at Peachtree Parkway.
He was airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, said Ron Mundy, spokesman for the Peachtree City fire department.
The boy was walking home from school and was crossing the street against a red light when the accident happened, Sgt. Odilia Bergh told Channel 2 Action News.
Police, who have interviewed witnesses, at this point do not expect to file charges against any drivers, Bergh said.
