Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B revealed that she is expecting a second child with her husband Offset.
The artist surprised fans with the announcement at the BET Awards Sunday night. During Offset’s performance with his group Migos, Cardi B joined them on stage in a bedazzled bodysuit exposing her baby bump.
During the televised reveal, the official announcement was shared simultaneously on Instagram with a maternity photo in which the 28-year-old rapper is captured nude with a white cast across her stomach.
The post was captioned “#2!” with Offset tagged. Offset responded to the photo and said, “God is good.”
In similar fashion, Cardi B announced the pregnancy of her first child, Kulture, that she also shares with rapper Offset during a televised “Saturday Night Live” performance in 2018.
With welcoming her first child, the rap star hosted a star-studded “Bronx fairytale” inspired baby shower in Atlanta. According to Harper’s Bazaar, there was a “Bardi Baby Bodega” that served drinks, desserts and baby gear to guests.
In addition to her pregnancy reveal, Cardi B won the award for best collaboration and video of the year for her song “WAP” with Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
