Candidate announces for North Fulton seat

Johns Creek City Council member and Mayor Pro Tem Kelly Stewart has announced plans to run for the open Georgia State House District 50 seat.

The post is being vacated by State. Rep. Lynne Riley, a Republican from Johns Creek. Riley’s been named to lead the Georgia Department of Revenue by Gov. Nathan Deal beginning Jan 11. Stewart has served on the Johns Creek Council since 2010.
