Power was restored to Camp Creek Marketplace after an outage left the shopping destination in the dark for about two hours Monday, East Point officials said.

The outage was caused by a car accident at a substation on Welcome All Road, according to a post on the city’s Facebook page. The details of the incident are not clear.

UPDATE: Power has been restored to the areas affected by the power outage at the Welcome All Substation. Crews are working on a traffic light that is out at this time near Logistics Way and N Commerce Drive.

In addition to Camp Creek Marketplace, the outage affected areas on North Commerce Drive, including an Amazon warehouse. Crews restored service to the area about 2 p.m., the city said.

A car accident has caused an outage at the Welcome All Substation affecting the following areas: Camp Creek Marketplace Amazon Warehouse N. Commerce Dr Crews are working to restore power.
