A Buckhead road was temporarily shut down Thursday morning after a driver crashed into a utility pole, officials said.

The single-vehicle wreck happened at West Paces Ferry and Pinestream roads, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Steve Avery said. No injuries were reported in the crash, and the scene was cleared by noon.

The incident toppled a power pole in the area, causing an outage to a nearby neighborhood, officials confirmed.

More than 500 Georgia Power customers in the area were impacted by the outage, according to the utility's outage map. Georgia Power repaired the damage line and restored power to the area about 12:30 p.m., according to a company spokeswoman.
