Police have released surveillance photos of a man who robbed a Loomis armored truck guard Oct. 22 at the BP gas station on Cascade Road in Fulton County.

Around 1 p.m., the Loomis guard left the building when a black man, possibly in his 20s, who was wearing an Alabama hoodie approached him and grabbed the bag of money, according to the Fulton County Police Department.

The guard tried to retrieve the bag, but the suspect fled the scene in a gray Nissan Pathfinder.

The Loomis guard fired at the vehicle, but it is unknown if the car or suspect was hit.

Anyone with information regarding this case should contact Detective P. Smith at 404-613-6600.
