A woman was struck and killed Monday night as she tried to walk across a busy street, according to Gwinnett County police.
The wreck happened in front of Corley Elementary School on Pleasant Hill Road, near Lawrenceville, Cpl. Deon Washington said. The woman, whose name was not released, was in a crosswalk.
Investigators spoke with two drivers, who were released from the scene.
No further details were available late Monday.
