The bodies of a man and a woman were found in a freight warehouse in Clayton County Sunday afternoon.

A worker discovered the bodies, both apparently in their 20s, after hearing some sort of commotion, then gunfire, in the warehouse on Tradeport Drive, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Police did not provide details about what led to the deaths of the woman, a sergeant in the U.S. Army, and the man, who may have driven trucks for the company, called Towne Air Freight, according to Channel 2.

Police received a call around 1:30 p.m. reporting screaming, followed by gunshots near the warehouse, according to Channel 2. Capt. Richard Godfrey told Channel 2 both people had been shot, but only one weapon had been recovered. Police did not believe anyone else was involved in the shooting, according to Channel 2. Family members told Channel 2 the man and woman were in an on-again, off-again relationship.

Clayton County police are continuing to investigate.
