Man tells police his marijuana was stolen during home invasion
Athens-Clarke County police are looking for three suspects in the home invasion.

Feb 14, 2017Police are looking for three men who broke into an Athens man’s home Monday and stole some of his belongings, including $100 in marijuana.
It took only five minutes for the men — one of them in a red, hooded sweatshirt and armed with an “AR” style rifle — to break into the man’s home on the 100 block of Ruth Drive, Athens-Clarke County police spokesman Epifanio Rodriguez said.
The alleged thieves took the victim’s Xbox, PS4 and cellphone, plus $100 worth of marijuana, Rodriguez said.
No one was injured in the incident. Police did not say if the victim knew his alleged attackers.
