1 killed after fight leads to gunfire in Palmetto

Dec 10, 2015A young man was found shot to death Wednesday night in south Fulton County, about two blocks away from where a fight escalated to gunfire, according to police.
Officers were called to Carlton Road after shots were fired, Palmetto police Chief John Cooper told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. During the investigation, officers found the shooting victim, believed to be in his teens or early 20s, Cooper said.
No information was released late Wednesday regarding a possible suspect in the shooting.
“We’re working the case,” Cooper said from the scene.
Palmetto is located in south Fulton near the Coweta County line.
