A Covington man has been charged in North Carolina with possessing 11,000 grams of crystal methamphetamines.

Jose Alex Cambron, 18, was arrested in Raleigh Tuesdsay on the eastbound side of U.S. 264. He was charged by Wake County deputies with two counts of trafficking in methamphetamines and for maintaining a vehicle for the sale and distribution of the drug. Arrest warrants indicate that Cambron hid the crystal meth in the tire well of his pickup.

Cambron is being held at the Wake County Detention Center. Bail has been set at $1 million.
