Norcross police arrested a trio they say convinced a man online to meet them at a Gwinnett County hotel and then robbed him.

Ron Rodriguez, Kallie Lohry and Savanna Boring were arrested after the robbery victim came forward, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The victim told Norcross police he met Lohry online and agreed to meet her at a Rodeway Inn, the news station reported. Once he got there, Boring and Rodriguez allegedly robbed him at gunpoint.

They then led him back to his truck and took him to a wooded area off Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Gwinnett police said the alleged robbers told the victim to get out of the car and pistol whipped him. The pair then drove away.

Boring was later spotted driving the stolen truck and taken into custody.

Lohry and Boring are charged with theft by taking, kidnapping, false imprisonment and armed robbery. They were booked into the Gwinnett County jail, where they remain with no bond.

In court, Boring’s attorney insisted she wasn’t a willing participant in the robbery. He said Boring claimed she was scared of Rodriguez “and that’s why she was doing some of this,” Channel 2 reported.

Gwinnett police said Rodriguez was involved in attacking another man days earlier, Channel 2 reported. In a court appearance, police said Rodriguez and other men kicked the man’s door down and beat him with brass knuckles, the news station reported.

Police were able to identify Rodriguez by the cross tattoo between his eyes, the news station reported.

Rodriguez was charged with theft by taking, home invasion, aggravated assault, armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, kidnapping and false imprisonment.

Police said there could be several more victims who are too embarrassed to come forward due to the circumstances.
