A second person died following a Tuesday afternoon on Ga. 316 eastbound, Gwinnett County police said late Tuesday.
The wreck happened at the intersection with Winder Highway and involved a tractor-trailer, according to Cpl. Deon Washington said. The intersection was shut down during the investigation, he said.
One person died at the scene of the wreck, and the second died after being taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
No further details were released late Tuesday.
