Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help in their effort to find the people who stole an iPad, two Canon digital cameras and five camera lenses from a church in January.

The theft occurred at the Church of the Apostles at 3585 Northside Parkway in Atlanta. It was discovered three weeks ago by a church official.

When the church replaced the iPad, officials found five new photos on their iCloud account time stamped very shortly after the theft. The men police are seeking are in the photos.

Police released two photos of the suspects Monday, one of whom they described as a younger, black male. One photo is an image of a single male, while the other is of two males, one of whom is obscured.

Police said one of the photos was a selfie.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered through the Crime Stoppers Atlanta program for information leading to the arrest and indictment of whoever is responsible.

Information can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online www.crimestoppersatlanta.org, or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637).

Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward.
