Man found fatally shot in motel parking lot near Norcross
Detectives are at the scene of a deadly shooting at a Gwinnett County motel Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place at the Intown Suites Extended Stay at 1950 Willow Trail Parkway in unincorporated Norcross, according to Gwinnett police. The gunshot victim was found in the motel’s parking lot about 3:30 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said. His identity is being withheld until his next of kin is notified.
No other information has been released by police.
According to NewsChopper 2, there’s heavy police activity in the area, but traffic remains mostly unaffected.
