Authorities ID man shot to death in southeast Atlanta Wednesday

May 9, 2015A man shot to death late Wednesday night in southeast Atlanta has been identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office as 39-year-old Lovelace Shirley.
Shirley died in what Atlanta police said was an apparent drive-by shooting before midnight Wednesday on Macedonia Road. Shirley was shot at least one time and died at the scene.
Police had no updates Saturday on their investigation. They have said Shirley was the intended target and that the suspect also fired several shots at a woman who witnessed the shooting but missed. Police said the suspect was possibly driving a white pickup truck.
