Scattered showers are expected again Wednesday and possibly Thursday. But sunshine is expected to return by the end of the week, according to forecasters.

There is 30 percent chance of rain Wednesday, when high temperatures should reach the upper 40s, chief meteorologist Glenn Burns with Channel 2 Action News said. You’ll want to keep the keep umbrellas handy again Thursday, when there’s a 20 percent of rain, Burns said.

By Friday, the drizzle should be gone and the sunshine will take its place, Burns said. The sunshine will stick around for the weekend, he said.

Warmer temperatures are also expected in time for the weekend, when highs should reach the upper 50s Saturday and Sunday.
