The Atlanta History Center is holding a virutal Veterans Day celebration at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The center’s senior military historian Gordon Jones will be the featured speaker.

The broadcast can be picked up on Facebook or Youtube and through links on the center’s website.

Atlanta among airports where FAA will cut flights due to shutdown

The U.S. Department of Transportation will cut flights by 10% across 40 of the nation’s busiest airports on Friday to alleviate pressure on air traffic controllers.
