Panama-based Copa Airlines plans to start flying to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport next month.

The airline is scheduled to begin operating four flights a week between Atlanta and Panama City, Panama on Dec. 12.

Copa will fly in and out of Atlanta on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Delta Air Lines also plans to boost its service between Atlanta and Panama, adding a second flight on Saturdays starting Dec. 18. Atlanta-based Delta is also launching flights to Panama City, Panama from Los Angeles, New York and Orlando, increasing its flight capacity to Panama by 80% compared with December 2019.

Delta called Panama “a highly sought destination” with “breathtaking beaches and vibrant culture.”
