Arrest made in fatal shooting in Riverdale; female witness sought

Clayton County police have made an arrest in connection to the fatal shooting Friday morning inside a Riverdale convenience store, but authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who witnessed the incident.

The shooting happened before 9 a.m. at the Shell station in the 1200 block of Ga. 138. According to JaQuitta Williams, public information officer for Clayton County police, the incident saw 21-year-old Ryan Delong Hill and 24-year-old Taylor Shawn Boyer get into a physical altercation in which weapons were drawn.

Hill was shot and killed in the incident, and police upon their arrival found him dead on the scene, Williams said.

Boyer was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter and weapons charges.

Police on Friday released photos of a woman who was in the store during the incident. She is wanted for questioning as a witness.
