All lanes of I-85 through Spaghetti Junction have reopened after a tractor-trailer wreck shut down most of the interstate in both directions during the early stages of Monday’s morning commute.

The northbound truck jackknifed around 4 a.m. on I-85 at I-285, with the cab of the truck punching through the concrete median onto the southbound side of the interstate.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

At 5 a.m., all northbound lanes were blocked, with southbound traffic squeezing by the wreck site in one right lane.

Wreckers extracted the truck from the median wall, and all northbound and southbound lanes were reopened shortly before 6 a.m.
