October 13, 2020 Gwinnett County: CSX railroad personnel were busy Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020 cleaning up a large train derailment that happened Sunday in Lilburn. Heavy rain caused a 170-car CSX train to derail near Main Street and Camp Creek Road in Lilburn early Sunday, October 11, 2020. When crews arrived, they determined 38 railcars had gone off the tracks. Two CSX employees were trying to get out of a locomotive that had turned onto its side, officials said.
