A crash is causing major delays on I-75 South through Clayton County early Tuesday.

Traffic has been impacted since 4:30 a.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The scene is on the interstate at Forest Parkway, or Exit 237. The area is just past the Perimeter.

All lanes have been intermittently closed, which has allowed some traffic to get by at times, but the backup is building on both south and northbound lanes as onlooker delays stack.

Commuters should use I-675 as an alternate to avoid the jam, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. Riverdale Road is also a good way around the blockage.
