PHOTOS: Westside Park, Atlanta's largest park, now open

Atlanta Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry will be Atlanta's biggest park. Piedmont Park is 185 acres. Located west of downtown Atlanta and formerly a quarry site, the park has trails, a pedestrian connection to and from the seven-mile Proctor Creek Greenway and an ADA-accessible overlook area. Construction began in 2016. The park's 2.4 billion-gallon reservoir will provide the city a 30-day emergency supply of water.
