Staging contract approved for Henry graduations

The Henry County Board of Education voted at its Oct. 11 regular meeting to approve a $175,855.84 contract with Southeast Staging Inc. to provide staging, audio, lighting and video services for the 2022 graduation ceremonies for the district’s 10 high schools at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The money will be paid out of the district’s general fund, according to a staff report. The school board voted last month to renew its contract with AMS to host graduation ceremonies May 17-29, 2022. This will be the third consecutive year that all graduations are at the speedway rather than at the respective school campuses. Information: henry.k12.ga.us.
