Photo Gallery: Centennial Yards to expand with huge new phase
The developer of Centennial Yards announced a huge new phase for the $5 billion downtown Atlanta redevelopment project. It will include an entertainment district near Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena. The project, in what's known as The Gulch between Five Points and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will rise over active rail lines and parking lots.

This is a rendering of the planned entertainment district that will make up the center of the Centennial Yards development in downtown Atlanta. The project was designed by Atlanta architecture firm Gensler.
