Georgia answered.
On a free play after Alabama jumped offsides, Stetson Bennett found Adonai Mitchell for a 40-yard touchdown pass. A two-point conversion failed to make it 19-18.
The four-play, 75-yard drive was aided by a pass interference penalty on Alabama on Georgia’s Jermaine Burton that might have been a touchdown.
After Alabama scored following the controversial fumble recovery, Georgia quickly responded.
