The Alabama lead remained three points, 9-6, after Georgia blocked a field-goal attempt. Alabama tried to cap a 68-yard drive, after 16 plays, with a 48-yard field goal from Will Reichard. The drive took 7:45 off the third-quarter clock.

However, Jalen Carter blocked the attempt.

It was Georgia’s second blocked field goal of the season.
