Proposed by Florida company Point Summit Incorporated, the attraction would sit on the 58-acre property behind Pasco County’s Treehoppers Aerial Adventure Park.

"This is a great unique asset that could attract a lot of attention to Pasco County in a great positive light," county tourism director Adam Thomas told WFTS.

The attraction, which would feature a tubing run and snow-filled lawns, is waiting on official approval from the county. If approved, the state’s first snow park would open sometime in Fall 2019.

In the meantime, Floridians, Georgians and folks from all over the world are welcome at the Peach State's Snow Mountain attraction, complete with a 400-foot tubing hill, a SnowZone for all your favorite frosty activities and more. It opens Nov. 17.
